  • Advising on heads of terms in order to appropriately structure the transaction.
  • Carrying out due diligence on the title to the property and investigating and carrying out appropriate enquiries and property searches in order to report to you on the same.
  • Negotiating the contractual terms ensuring your position is protected.
  • Acting on behalf of financial institutions to finance the acquisition.
  • Deal with post-completion matters such as registering interests at the Land Registry and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns to HMRC.


  • Assisting, drafting and advising on heads of terms to best protect a seller’s position.
  • Collate all necessary documentation and information relevant to the transaction.
  • Draft the sales pack appropriate to the transaction including the Contract for sale and property title information.
  • Identify any potential roadblocks early on in the transaction and obtain appropriate consents if necessary with a view to minimise delays as much as possible.
  • Deal with enquiries and matters raised from the buyer’s solicitor effectively
